In those writings, they stated that they wouldn’t commemorate the independence in our country which had been taken. Because of that writing, he was sent away to Bangka Island, as a punishment from Netherlands government.
After he was free from the punishment, he had a trip to Netherlands. Then, he built a school named Taman Siswa. During the time he established this school, there were so many challenges and obstacles from Netherlands government. With all of his persistent effort, he finally got the permission to establish it.

Then, he got an appreciation of the honourable Doctor from Gadjah Mada University. My Favourite Place's Forest

why my favourite place is forest ? because my grand father is The Forest Ranger. Taking care of forests has been . he very love it, eventhough sometimes it can be very dangerous, he could lose he life. In my duties, I rarely face great problems, just small groups of illegal loggers and non-serious violations such as littering, grafting, and camping in illegal places. he had one bad experience that changed he life forever. It happened three years ago, on a dark cold night....

he was so worried, the weather was hot and there had been no rain for a long time. The trees in the forest were dry as a bone. It would just take a tiny spark to turn the whole forest into a raging sea of fire. Then, in the afternoon from my watchtower high above the trees, he saw a thin spiral of smoke.

Fire! he yelled aloud. Fire fighters rushed to the blaze in trucks. Working as fast as they could, the men battled against the blaze with streams of water. They started to chop down trees and dig up the ground to keep the fire from spreading. Then, came the aeroplanes dumping massive amounts of water treated with special chemicals to put off the blazing forest. From other planes came men with parachutes. These men were fire fighters called smoke jumpers. They parachuted into places that men on the ground cannot reach easily. This is very dangerous work because no one can save them if they get into trouble.

Finally, in six hours, the firemen had stopped the spread of fire. Thousands of trees had become blackened stumps had been saved. Then, he heard a terrible ringing sound coming from inside of the trees. Oh my God... it was a horrible dream. People in yellow everywhere, a great fire sparking, aeroplane engines were roaring over my head.

Since then, he always be careful. Especially when he check the camping area or in the holiday season where many people come to the forest. Not one single active cigarette left or camp fire remains. he will not let the forest fire. he said.

                                         WTTF

Hello fellas! Back again to my blog.

I want to tell you about my activities last week.

On Saturday, 20th of August there is an event in my school. It's called WTTF. WTTF stands for World Tournament x Techno Festival. It was organized by OSIS SMAN 3 Bandung and participated by #32018 and #32019

First of all, each class of #32018 and #32019 have had to wore the outfit that each class has already decided. My class X MIPA 8 wore navy blue as the dresscode. At 6.30 am we gathered in Lapangan Bali. The rules were given by the committee. The game will be 32018 versus 32019. So my class' opponent was our seniors, XI MIPA 8. Every winners of the game will be given a piece of puzzle. Then, every two classes will be accompanied by two committee. Another rules was the participants had to speak english during the event.

The first game was answering question about technology. Sadly our class didn't win but it's okay! It's only the start.

The second game was held in Taman Tongkeng. It's quite far from SMAN 3 if we go there by foot. It's reaaally tiring. We had to make robot with the tools given by the committee. There were boxes, bottles, straws, scissors, tape, etc. The committees only gave us 5 minutes to complete our robots. But the result was a bit strange i think. It's because we didn't have much time to complete our robot. But surprisingly we won this game yeaay!

The third game was held in Taman Foto. We had to walk again to the arena. We played twister there. This game was fun because my friends' body tied up in a knot haha. But unfortunately, we had to lose again. Cheer up friends!

After that, we had a break for 30 minutes. Then we went to the class to watch a short film about a robot which was treated badly by its creator. It was a touching story.

The next game is quiz about general knowledge and we win this game! After that we went to parking field. There was an eating contest food. My friends had to eat super spicy noodles. But we didn't win this time.

There was also gaming contest. The game we played was Tekken and Football. It's really fun to watch. Then, we went to Taman Musik to play Second Rank, its a game about knowledge. The objective is to be the second rank. But we didn't win though.

After that, we went back to Lapangan Bali to play Flappy Bird, the game was very annoying :(. The last game was a sport game. We have to detached the opponets' handband. This game was really fun.

At the end of the event, all of participants gathered in Lapangan Bali. The committee told us (all of 3'2019) to gather the puzzles and complete  them. They gave us 15 minutes. And the result is....... 3'2019 won the game! This is the picture of the puzzle:

After that, the committee annouced the best class of 2018 and 2019. The best class of 2018 is XI MIPA 5. And the best class of 2019 is X MIPA 8, it's my class yeaaay! They gave us pizza. We didn't expected to win though.

Although it was really sunny and tiring day, the event taught me many things. I enjoyed WTTF so much. thanks to see my blog. see you

                                                                   Megantara

One month ago, there was a big event called Megantara. Megantara is an cultural event held by SMAN 3 Bandung. This event is held anually. Before Megantara, the event's name were Matswapati (2014) and Gamarvani (2015) The event held in Bali Field on September 2016.The event started at 11.30 a.m. But as a non committee, I had to join the parade. The parade started from Bali Field at 7 a.m. The girls had to wear kebaya and samping. The boys had to wear pangsi (Sundanese traditional costume for men). We had to walk quite far. It was really tiring but it was also really fun because there were kindergarten students who wore cute costume joined our parade. after the parade ended, I went to SMAN 3 to change my clothes into the casual one. But, I and my friends didn't know what to do so we decided to go to eat before we went to Megantara. Then we went back again to Bali Field.

Then, I entered the gate of Megantara. I went inside and got checked by the committee. Then, I went to a brown tunnel which has hand print along the tunnel. It's looklike abris sous roche.

After that, I saw many food stalls and food trucks. The food stalls were separated into five section represented five big island in Indonesia that are Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua. But sadly I didn't have the chance to eat the food in the event because  I had been eaten before I went to the event. But I tasted my friends' food called Nasi Gorilla rendang flavour and it tasted incredible! Despite the food stalls, there was also haunted house performed by SMAN 12 Bandung. There were also face paint stalls and cultural stalls.

When I just entered the event, there were a performance by Darul Hikam. After that, Bali dance, Band 3, LSS, KPA3, vocal groups, and MK3 showed up their amazing talents! Then, I watched a fashionshow participated by 34 students from class X who represented each 34 province of Indonesia. They were wearing the traditional costume. My friends Amanda, Tika, and Sylva became the models of the fashion show. It was really fun to watch. That's all

1. Elephant and Friends

One day an elephant wandered into a forest in search of friends. He saw a monkey on a tree. “Will you be my friend?” asked the elephant. Replied the monkey, “You are too big. You can not swing from trees like me.” Next, the elephant met a rabbit. He asked him to be his friends. But the rabbit said, “You are too big to play in my burrow!” Then the elephant met a frog.
“Will you be my friend? He asked.
“How can I?” asked the frog.
“You are too big to leap about like me.”
The elephant was upset. He met a fox next.
“Will you be my friend?” he asked the fox.
The fox said, “Sorry, sir, you are too big.”
The next day, the elephant saw all the animals in the forest running for their lives. The elephant asked them what the matter was. The bear replied, “There is a tiger in the forest. He’s trying to gobble us all up!” The animals all ran away to hide. The elephant wondered what he could do to solve everyone in the forest. Meanwhile, the tiger kept eating up whoever he could find. The elephant walked up to the tiger and said, “Please, Mr. Tiger, do not eat up these poor animals.”
“Mind your own business!” growled the tiger.
The elephant has a no choice but to give the tiger a hefty kick. The frightened tiger ran for his life. The elephant ambled back into the forest to announce the good news to everyone. All the animals thanked the elephant. They said, “You are just the right size to be our friend.

2. Why the Bat flies at Night

By Traditional
Once upon a time, in the distant past, there was a great war between the animals who live in the sky and those that live on the ground. Nobody now remembers how the war started or what it was about, but it was a terrible time. Many animals on both sides were wounded or killed, and eventually somebody said that if they carried on like this, there would be no animals left on the earth. So some of the sky animals and some of the ground animals had a meeting, and as nobody could recall what they were fighting each other for, it was agreed that a truce should be called, and peace declared.
For the sky dwellers, the heron was appointed to make the announcements, and for the ground animals, the hare would do this job, as he was able to get around the area very quickly. This was done the next morning, but as all animals settled down, realising they could now live in peace and rebuild their lives, some body found the body of Mr Bat. He was the last victim of the war, and must have been killed late the previous day. All the flying animals were very upset, and the decided to organise a big burial for their friend. But as they were preparing his body for the funeral, one of the birds noticed that Mr Bat had teeth in his mouth.
How was that possible? Flying animals don’t have teeth. They called a meeting, and they agreed that Bat can’t be one of them, as no other bird has teeth in his mouth. So they took bat’s body to the ground animals, and told them that as Mr Bat was not a bird, it was their responsibility to give him a decent burial.

The ground animals agreed to accept the body, but then, as they were preparing for the burial, one of them shouted: “Wait a minute, this bat may have teeth, but he definitely also has wings! How can he be one of us if he has wings?”
So now the ground animals had a meeting to consider the problem, and they decided that no ground animal can have wings, so therefore, Mr Bat can’t be regarded as one of them. So they too, refused to bury Mr Bat.

Poor Mr Bat, the flying animals refused to accept him because he has teeth, and the ground animals refused to accept him because he has wings. And that is why the bat is still flying around every night.
Found among the papers of John Fumey, my deceased father in law, in Madina, Accra.

3.  A Moral Story : Bell The Cat

Let us enjoy reading this story of Bell The Cat.

There was a grocery shop in a town. Plenty of mice lived in that grocery shop. Food was in plenty for them. They ate everything and spoiled all the bags. They also wasted the bread, biscuits and fruits of the shop.

The grocer got really worried. So, he thought "I should buy a cat and let it stay at the grocery. Only then I can save my things."

He bought a nice, big fat cat and let him stay there. The cat had a nice time hunting the mice and killing them. The mice could not move freely now. They were afraid that anytime the cat would eat them up.

The mice wanted to do something. They held a meeting and all of them tweeted "We must get rid of the cat. Can someone give a suggestion"?

All the mice sat and brooded. A smart looking mouse stood up and said, "The cat moves softly. That is the problem. If we can tie a bell around her neck, then things will be fine. We can know the movements of the cat".

“Yes, that is answer," stated all the mice. An old mouse slowly stood up and asked, "Who would tie the bell?" After some moments there was no one there to answer this question.
